If our fecal matter smelled like flowers, and flowers smelled like fecal matter, what would we as humans like?

You know you actually have a good point there, but there are beautiful things in life that smell horrible, and we realize this. I don't think that if flowers smelled like fecal matter (with us not knowing the difference) that we would be attracted to them, because we do tend to flee away from things that sour our senses. I don't think that just because it's pretty and we didn't know the difference that we would end up enjoying it, maybe not minding it as much, but probably not enjoying it.
