For several years, I have been plagued with constant eye mucous. It is cloudy white and slimy. No matter how many times I wash my face, use eye-drops, and wipe them with a wet towel, it reappears. It is thick and dried in the mornings but occurs many times (hourly) throughout the day. My eyes only get red after constant wiping of them. My doctors have claimed it to be allergies but no allergy medicines have helped. I also have constant nasal problems, where once again, (prescription and nonprescription) medicines do not work. Could this be something else? What tests should be taken?
