At what age can you change your name?

This is very interesting to me because I grew up with the name Jane and for years did not like it. My mom told me that the other name they had picked out for me was Laura! I always thought, "why didn't they pick Laura, it is such a beautiful name." Then one day I found out my name means God is gracious so ever since then I've really like my name. The girl's name Laura is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "the bay, or laurel plant". In clical times, a crown was made from the leaves of the bay laurel for heroes or victors as a symbol of honor and victory. I hope this helps you like your name a little better.
