Why do people think the Vikings are going to win the Super Bowl now just because of Favre?

That's a great question, I completely agree with you. I don't see the Vikings automatically being in the Super Bowl. They still have 16 games to play and yes they are the favorites in the North but they have a pretty tough schedule. They have a very good defense and arguably the best RB in the league but Favre isn't that great of a QB anymore. Yes, he is a Hall of Famer and yes he leads the NFL in some all time records but he hasn't been a top 10 QB in the league the last couple of years. Let's face it, he is coming on 40 and lead the league in picks 2 years ago. Out of all the QBs the last few years, you wouldn't put Favre in the top 10 or maybe top 15. He may be arguably the best QB of all time, but the last few years has been awful. He won his 3 MVP awards in the early part of his career and now is just old and washed up. He may be better than Jackson and Rosenfels, but come one, its Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels, they aren't exactly good QBs in the league.
