5 month old, how much milk in oz should he be drinking?

Sounds pretty heathy to me. Try some more solid food. If he likes it and doesn't have problems with going to the bathroom(diaper) or anything, then it's just fine. Keep giving plenty of formula though, that is the main food for another month or two.
