Topics for discussion?

More information about your situation would be helpful. What age are your students? Are you discussing topics aloud in cl, or are your having your students write about them? Do you want the topics to be current events, journal prompts, reading response, etc? If the topics you ign are based on literature, what book(s) have you been reading? In general, I would say that you just need to find a way to make the topics relevant and meaningful to your students. However, if you address some of these questions I think that you will get more specific and helpful responses.
